Our Mission
At Momentum, we are lovers of Boosted Boards and we want to help fellow riders get the most out of their board. Our mission statement is to help give fellow riders a little extra boost and maximize their fun. We apply years of Tesla vehicle engineering into our products and customer happiness is our priority.
Who Are We Anyway!?
We're Doug and Andrew. We've known each other for about 13 years and we're super nerds that love speed, beer, and speed. Andrew is an aerospace and mechanical engineer that has designed a lot of race car parts, he's an adrenaline junkie. He's one of those guys that did a double major and killed both of those degrees at the same time in four years. Nerd. We worked together and designed 4 race cars together. After, he worked at Tesla for a couple of years, working on aerodynamics and designing a wheel that, alone, transformed the performance of the Tesla. 10.6% reduction in drag and 3.5% increase in range - we're translating that method to your Boosted Board with our products.

Doug is a mechanical engineer and ex-engine designer. He was able to get his company launced out of Y Combinator, the same investor that launched Boosted Board. There, we met some of the founders of Boosted Board, and here we are today!
Andrew and I have been on a lot of adventures. Here is us racing each other and, of course, me winning. Of course, Andrew probably has a different story, but it's my blog!
